STOCKPORT COUNTY qualified for the first round proper of the FA Cup for the first time since 2012 after a 2-0 victory over Bishop Auckland.

Two first half goals from Danny Lloyd was enough to earn the Hatters the win and a place in tonight's draw.

Joining them in the hat will be ALTRINCHAM, after they picked up a 3-1 win against Matlock Town.

Niall McManus gave Matlock the lead, before Damian Reeves levelled things up just before half-time.

Sean Miller then struck twice at the start of the second half to ensure that Altrincham came out on top.

CURZON ASHTON will have a replay with York City at the Tameside Stadium tonight after the two teams played out a 1-1 draw. York opened the scoring on seven minutes after a Richard Brodie penalty, but Niall Cummins equalised to keep both sides in the competition. …
