TWO pranksters who blagged their way onto a float at the Olympic parade say they 'just did it for a laugh.' Jamie Rawsthorne, from Stockport, and his pal Zac Alsop, both 21, made national headlines when they were discovered celebrating with members of Team GB on the streets of the city centre on Monday.

The pair bought the Team GB tracksuits for Pounds 50 each and donned fake medals to trick their way past security.

They then blagged a place on a float which saw them parade past 100,000 people.

They were even interviewed on Sky News - although they were rumbled by the interviewer - and later rubbed shoulders with US pop star Will.I.Am.

Aspiring businessman Jamie told the M.E.N. the athletes on the float couldn't stop laughing after they sussed the pair were fakes. The 21-year-old said: "We thought we might step on some toes. …
