Salvador Dali's influence on American pop culture will be explored at 6 p.m. today by Father Robert Keffer at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art, 221 N. Main St., Greensburg. Father Keffer is a Benedictine monk of Saint Vincent Archabbey and an artist. His interest in 20th-century art and the surrealists led him to an in- depth study of the eccentric artist in conjunction with the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, Fla.

He is Seton Hill University's student chaplain, Excela Health Latrobe Hospital chaplain and has served in bereavement ministry at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel at Saint Vincent Cemetery.
