Article excerpt

A Paramus-based commercial property and project manager has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection from creditors while it attempts to reorganize and restructure its debts, which total more than $700,000, according to court filings.

Pro Construction Trades Inc., which does business as Premier Facility Services, estimated its assets in a range of $100,001 to $500,000 and liabilities between $500,001 and $1 million when the business filed in federal Bankruptcy Court in Newark last week.

The company's largest unsecured creditors include Delta Building Services in Rutherford and Tomco Construction in Mount Arlington, with claims totaling $423,000 and $281,500, respectively.

Brian Troast, president of Pro Construction Trades, signed the bankruptcy petition on behalf of the property management firm, which is being represented in Bankruptcy Court by Ilissa Churgin Hook of the law firm Hook & Fatovich in Wayne.

Neither Troast nor Hook could be reached for comment. …
