Mourinho: Roo-Mours Are False ; Boss Says Wayne Is Going Nowhere after Reports Skipper Would Be Allowed to Leave

JOSE Mourinho is not ready to discard Wayne Rooney from his United plans.

The Reds boss has dismissed stories that he has told the 31-year- old Old Trafford captain that if he wants regular first team football then he will have to leave United after 12 years at the club.

"Not true at all. You can say what you want but it's not true," Mourinho said categorically when asked about the 'you can go' reports.

Rooney, who is only four goals away from dislodging 249-goal Sir Bobby Charlton from the club's number one spot in the all-time goalscoring records, was axed by Mourinho against Leicester City seven matches ago.

He has since been sub on four occasions and only started against Fenerbahce. He missed the Chelsea and City matches with a thigh injury but is now fit again for selection.

The striker turned 31 recently but Mourinho insists he's still wanted at United. …
