A GHOULISH green glow has been cast over Manchester as the city celebrates Halloween - as this picture taken by a drone shows to spooktacular effect.

The airborne camera gives a bat's eye view of the building lit up during the witching hour.

Captured by LUNAR Aerial Imaging, the drone footage gives a glimpse of some of the creepy goings-on from Manchester's first city- wide Halloween festival.

Over the weekend we've had a giant mechanical spider crawling down shopping streets, and an invasion of the undead for a zombie walk.

Cemetery gates have been installed on Market Street, accompanied by the chilling sounds of howling wolves and cackling witches, as well as a fancy dress photobooth with a selfie mirror for visitors to take some spooky snaps.

Launched on October 21 and running until the climax of Halloween tonight, the event has also seen buildings including Harvey Nichols, Manchester Arndale, House of Fraser and Selfridges lit up in green while 4,000 pumpkins are hanging from trees around the city centre. …
