PEP Guardiola has told his City troops they have to improve their discipline if they are to stand any chance of beating Barcelona tonight.

The Blues boss called the clash with the Catalans 'a final' and made a pointed reference to Nolito, who was lucky to escape with a yellow card for thrusting his head at West Brom's Craig Dawson in Saturday's 4-0 away win. City have now suffered four red cards in their five meetings with Barca.

Each time the dismissal has proved significant in the balance of the match.

They were losing 1-0 at the Nou Camp a fortnight ago when Claudio Bravo was sent off for deliberate handball after making an error outside his box, and City ended up crashing 4-0.
