Helen Hocker Theater to Shine Light on Its Haunted House

After scaring the bejeebers out its last group of visitors until 11 p.m. Halloween, "Project Terror: Directing a Nightmare," Helen Hocker Theater's haunted house experience, will turn the lights on all of the creepy things that went bump in the dark.

The lights up tour of the Gage Park venue will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Tuesday. Admission is $15 at the door.

The tour is intended for anyone too afraid to go through the haunted house in the dark or for those who toured "Project Terror: Directing a Nightmare" but are interested in seeing how resident designer Adam Jenks and his team created its frights.

Actors and crew will be there to answer questions, and for those who might be concerned that too much behind-the-scenes knowledge might spoil next year's edition of "Project Terror," the theater in a Facebook post said, "Don't Worry, it'll be different next year, so we promise to scare you once again. …
