News from the Topeka Police Department:

- A local cabbie reported a rider stiffed him over the weekend in downtown Topeka.

The driver, a 49-year-old Topeka man, reported a customer didn't pay a $10 cab fare at the end of a trip about 4:23 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, in the 400 block of S.W. 4th.

- Nearly $2,000 in electronics and video games was reported stolen during an aggravated burglary early Saturday, Oct. 29, in central Topeka.

The victim, a 24-year-old woman, reported someone broke into her home sometime between 12:01 and 7 a.m. in the 2000 block of S.W. Clay.

The woman reported a 55-inch LG TV worth $1,500 was taken, along with a PlayStation 4 console worth $350 and a PlayStation 4 controller valued at $60.

The total loss in the incident came to $1,910.
