UNITED defender Luke Shaw is hopeful that a possible touchline ban for Jose Mourinho would not be too detrimental to the team.

The Portuguese manager has been hit with a second FA charge after he was sent off during the draw with Burnley on Saturday.

He has until 6pm on Friday to respond to the charge, an FA statement said.

Mourinho has already received an FA charge this season after comments made about referee Anthony Taylor before he took charge of United's 0-0 draw with Liverpool at Anfield and is waiting to find out what action he faces.

A fine appears the most likely outcome for that incident, but Mourinho could be hit by a touchline ban after being sent off by Clattenburg at Old Trafford.

Any pitchside absence would be far from ideal, but United left- back Shaw is hopeful it would not be too detrimental to the team. …
