New Red Devil out to Stop the Boo Boys Now He Has Joined Salford ; RUGBY LEAGUE

LEE Mossop has joked he is looking forward to playing at the AJ Bell Stadium and not being a target for the Red Devils fans now he has signed for the club.

The 27-year-old prop has joined Salford from Wigan, where he won two Super League Grand Finals and two Challenge Cups.

And during his time with the Warriors, Mossop experienced the unique atmosphere at the AJ Bell and revealed he is excited at having the fans behind him for a change.

He said: "I've been joking with Watto [head coach Ian Watson], I'm looking forward to playing here without getting a load of stick!

"They're a passionate group and I look forward to playing some of my best rugby in front of them.

"I work hard, I try to give everything each game and, hopefully, that's enough.

"At the end of the day, it's not about any individual players or the coach - if you're going to achieve any sort of goal, everyone has to buy into it. …
