Ramen Restaurant Has Cut-Price Deals

SHORYU Ramen, a Japanese restaurant specialising in authentic Hakata cuisine, has opened with some enticing discounts before its official launch on Tuesday, November 29.

Based in Piccadilly Gardens, the 50-seater restaurant will be offering 50 per cent off all ramen until November 20 and 50pc off all cocktails from November 21-28.

The relaxed city centre diner will be offering its signature Hakata tonkotsu ramen, Shoryu buns and Gekkeikan Royal Warrant Sake.

General manager Duncan Yung, who will be leading Shoryu's first branch outside of London, says: "We are a casual diner, expect us to be professional, friendly and welcoming.

"Our ramen is very specific to us," he adds. "Our CEO has sourced not just ramen, but the flour itself, which comes from the Hakata region.

"It terms of our flavour and texture in the ramen, it's completely unique to Shoryu. …
