The Jets say they still have plenty to play for, including pride.

But that's not enough to impress NBC, which isn't interested in putting this mess of a 3-7 football team on national TV.

The NFL announced Monday that the Jets' next game, home on Nov. 27 against the Patriots, has been "flexed" out of prime time.

The Jets will now play at 4:25 p.m. on CBS, switching slots with the Chiefs and the defending Super Bowl champion Broncos, who will now play the nightcap.

The NFL has flexible scheduling, which allows NBC to switch to another game to ensure a quality matchup.

The move is slightly surprising, because the Patriots and Tom Brady are a huge national draw. But even that wasn't enough to offset the unwatchable mess the Jets have become. …
