CASE 32 * D is a 19-year-old determined to finish high school, but challenges continue to get in the way. He is struggling to find permanent housing after his family kicked him out, forcing him to drop out of school. He is transient, moving from one friend's house to another. He has contact with some family members, but they are limited in what they can provide for him. He would appreciate winter clothes and gift cards, including one to a store such as Foot Locker to buy shoes.

CASE 33 * Two years ago, Ms. W, now 27, was hit by a car. For four months, she was in a coma. She doesn't remember much about what happened, and still suffers from memory loss. She had to relearn how to walk, and was finally able to come home to her children. She has boys ages 9, 4 and 1 and a girl, 7. Ms. W is still not able to work and is on a fixed income, and needs furniture, clothing for her children, a washer and dryer, a wheelchair and other items. …
