Once again convivial conifers filled the Carnegie Museum's Hall of Architecture in Oakland to help kick off the holiday season. The Women's Committee of the Carnegie Museum of Art hosted the annual tree preview party for nearly 400 guests on Nov. 30. The theme for the trees this year is "The Americas." "This has been one of the biggest and most financially successful tree parties yet," said 2016 Carnegie Tree chair Heather Chronis (with Michael Danek). Also delighted with the turnout were co-chairs Katherine Bantleon (with John Hamilton), and Elizabeth Windsor (with Benjamin). The trees, which represented Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Peru and the United States, were stunningly decorated by tree chairs Gez Ebbert, Gail and Tom Murphy, Janet and Bill Hunt, Carnegie Library's Nancy Lewis and Carole and Dan Kamin. …
