* Last week: Did anyone have a better week than West, whose full name is Najhier but goes by Nas? Everyone knows it now after his jaw-dropping, tackle-breaking 60-yard touchdown made SportsCenter's Top 10 plays at No. 2 (behind a slam dunk). Oh, and he also finished with 288 yards on the ground and five touchdowns in Steel Valley's 49-17 rout of Southern Columbia in the PIAA Class 2A championship.

* Check this out: West is only a junior, so it's not a stretch to think the 5-foot-8, 165-pound running back could lead the WPIAL in rushing next year. After all, the WPIAL and state champion Ironmen lose Paris Ford and DeWayne Murray, so they could turn to West often.

*So what did you do Sunday to celebrate the win?

My body was sore, so I couldn't get up out of bed. I just laid down.

* When did you know your run would blow up?

When I did it, I didn't really see it from my own eyes. When I saw it after the game, that's when I noticed what I did. My Twitter was blowing up. The dude who filmed our game said he was going to try to get it on ESPN. …
