CASE 86 * C and her mom are overwhelmed with the physical, emotional and financial needs of being caregivers. C's 13-year-old sister is severely disabled with the genetic condition known as Jeune syndrome, and is not expected to live many more years. She requires constant care and supervision. C is only 22, but she has become a foster parent to a baby born to a drug addict. The family's income is not nearly enough to cover their rent, pay their bills and provide for their needs. Any assistance, from money for rent to gas cards and gift cards for Christmas, would help lift this family in need.
