CLIFTON - City police are looking for two suspects, a man armed with a knife and a woman armed with a semi-automatic gun, who are believed to be behind a pair of robberies carried out in Botany Village last month.

Police released surveillance footage of the suspects on Wednesday and asked for help identifying the duo.

On Dec. 17 at approximately 12:30 a.m, the two robbed a man as he walked in the area of Arthur and Center streets, said Detective Lt. Robert Bracken.

The male suspect is described as a black man between 25 and 30 years old, approximately 6 feet tall and 150 pounds in possession of a knife, according to police reports.

The woman is described as light-skinned, in her early 20s and approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall.

The suspects fled on foot toward Ackerman Avenue following the robbery, according to police. …
