Considering the context, this statement -"I think we ought to get on with our lives ... The whole age of computer has made it where nobody knows exactly what is going on" - may be the most shortsighted statement ever heard in the free world. Especially when uttered by the president-elect of the United States of America. To simply dismiss the possibility, given substantial facts indicating otherwise, that a presidential election cycle was subverted by a foreign government is tantamount to treason.

The electronic resources of a presidential candidate were compromised. Email message content was altered then publicly released to distort and discredit Hillary Clinton. This activity was detected in May 2016. These half-truths were repeated thousands of times during the 2016 election.

We must first discuss the Clintons before focusing on what occurred and why this is a concern. …
