Two St. Joseph stars, and two of North Jersey's top football players, have chosen their college destination.

Green Knights linebacker Louis Acceus and offensive lineman Joshua Fedd-Jackson committed to North Carolina State on Sunday.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Acceus, The Record's Defensive Player of the Year, racked up 101 tackles (14 for losses) with 61/2 sacks to help lead St. Joseph to a 9-2 record and the Non-Public Group 3 championship.

The Wolfpack is getting an explosive linebacker who routinely delivered ferocious hits and helped St. Joseph become one of North Jersey's most formidable defenses.

Acceus had a slew of offers from major Division I programs, including Boston College, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Rutgers, Syracuse, Miami, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

But the family atmosphere at N.C. State is what ultimately sealed his decision. …
