Norton-Thrower, Frances M.

January 23, 1921 - January 14, 2017

Frances M. Norton Thrower, 95 years young, a 30 year resident of Osprey, Florida, born January 23, 1921, died January 14, 2017. She was born in upstate New York. Fran graduated High School and nursing school to become a Registered Nurse. She enlisted in the Army in World War II and served as a RN in England for two years. Fran came back to America where she raised a family in Zanesville Ohio.

Fran continued to work as an RN at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Muskingum County Home in Ohio and Venice Hospital in Venice Florida.

She moved to The Arbors Mobile Home Park in Osprey, Florida in the 1980's.

Fran was predeceased by Charles Norton, father of their three children and

predeceased by Ralph Thrower second husband she met late in life.

She is survived by a brother Walter Saleman from Venice, Florida, her two sons and daughter: Charles Norton, Robert Norton, Patricia Eisenbach. …
