Led by teacher Diana Painter, Winfield High School's 2016-2017 Management and Entrepreneurship class held its business symposium at the school on Jan. 5 and made a contribution to a youngster's local cause in the process. The class named its company General Inc. It appointed a president, executive vice president and vice presidents for six departments: finance, human resources, marketing, IT, production and sales. In the symposium, 22 WHS students served the mock company in some capacity, gaining knowledge to prepare them for college and careers.
