BRADENTON -- The Southeast Seminoles entered Monday night's Class 3A-District 10 boys soccer quarterfinal determined to take advantage of a fierce and gusting northwest wind that howled throughout the match at Bayshore High's Balvanz Stadium.

After launching 24 shots at the Bruins, senior Jaason Raudales used his left foot to find the left corner of the net from 18 yards out with just under 13 minutes remaining in regulation. It was the game's lone goal and gave the Seminoles a 1-0 victory.

Southeast, now with a 9-8-2 record, will travel across the Skyway Bridge to take on the tournament's top seed, Boca Ciega, in a district semifinal on Wednesday at 6 p.m. The championship match is slated for Friday at 7 p.m.
