* Shadyside's Soba Lounge is celebrating the Chinese New Year and ushering in the Year of the Fire Rooster with a special tasting menu from chef Lily Tran, available through Saturday. The four-course menu is $40 per person with a $25 optional wine pairing. Dishes include grilled quail with soy, scallions, Chinese broccoli, ginger, shallot and Sichuan pepper; and striped bass with stir-fried tofu skin, Napa cabbage, spicy broth, bok choy, lotus root, red chili and jasmine rice.
