Marshall Coach Suspended after Arrest in Hurricane

Marshall basketball assistant coach Chris Duhon was arrested last month by Hurricane police on a charge of driving while his license was revoked for driving under the influence. Duhon, 34, was booked into the Western Regional Jail at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, and later released on bond.

Duhon's was arrested Nov. 30, 2015, on an aggravated DUI charge. The aggravated charge comes into play when the blood-alcohol content exceeds .15. According to the 2015 police report, he was found parked in Eleanor, asleep with the key in the ignition and the engine running.

The miminum penalty for that was two days with a $200 fine plus court costs, but that goes up considerably for this offense - 30 days to six months in jail and a $100-$500 fine. …
