NEW YORK -- Carmelo Anthony walked past the Knicks' locker room as if he didn't have a care in the world, politely declining an interview request, smiling and saying, "I've got to do my routine," as he continued down the hall. Somehow Anthony seemed able to -- as he would say in his trademarked phrase -- stay Melo, while everything else around him seemed to be falling apart. First it has been the dismal play of the team, followed by the social media sniping by Knicks' president Phil Jackson and then as the game got underway against the Los Angeles Clippers Wednesday, play came to a halt and players stood and watched in amazement, former Knicks standout Charles Oakley was pulled from his seat behind Madison Square Garden Chairman James Dolan by a team of security guards and brought underneath the stands where he was handcuffed and arrested by the NYPD. …
