Elkview Man Charged with Murder in West Side Shooting

An Elkview man was arraigned Wednesday in Kanawha County Magistrate Court on two charges of first-degree murder, after a woman he allegedly shot last week in Charleston died. Bobby Gene Hall, 42, allegedly shot Timothy Jett, 55, and Audrey Short, 38, at Jett's Garrison Avenue home last week. Jett died at the scene, and authorities took Short to the hospital, where she died from her injuries Wednesday morning.

Hall signed and initialed papers in front of Magistrate Jack Pauley that outlined the charges he faces.

Another person, Misty Rucker of Sissonville, was also arrested. She was charged with murder and conspiracy, and will be arraigned soon, said assistant Kanawha prosecutor Maryclaire Akers. She said more charges are being investigated.
