Henry's Freedom Box': The St. Albans Branch Library is hosting a program titled "Henry's Freedom Box at 3 p.m. In this program, Rory Rennick engages in a dramatic reading of "Henry's Freedom Box by Ellen Levine with magic, telling the story of a man who escaped slavery by being shipped in a box to Philadelphia.

Canvas Art: The Nitro Public Library is offering a canvas art project for adults starting at 6 p.m. Create a unique "canvas wall hanging with friends. Registration is now open.

The Believers: The Believers will be singing at 7 p.m. today during a gospel sing at Fisher Memorial Church, a half-mile on Dudden Fork Road, off the Interstate 77 Goldtown exit, and at 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, along with with soloist Jim Edens, at Kelly's Creek Community Church on Kelly's Creek Road in Sissonville.

KSF Clean-Up: Kanawha State Forest Superintendent Kevin Dials is launching a monthly volunteer project to get public assistance for efforts such as trail maintenance, campground preparation and trash pick-up. The first project will begin at 2 p.m., when volunteers are invited to help paint the restrooms outside the old KSF pool complex. Paint, rollers, and brushes will be provided. Volunteers should wear old clothing and closed-toe shoes. For further information, contact Jennifer Bauman, a volunteer with the Kanawha State Forest Foundation, at 714-856-5533.

W.Va. Power Job Fair: The West Virginia Power baseball organization will hold its annual job fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Macy's Court at the Charleston Town Center. National anthem auditions will follow the job fair from 2 to 3 p. …
