Federal Parolee Disappears for Second Time

Authorities are searching for a man who violated his parole for a second time following his release after a 30-year federal prison sentence for sending a pipe bomb through the mail.

Randall Douglas McFadden, 62, was supposed to be staying at the Salvation Army on the South Side, but he recently walked away, the U.S. Marshals Service said. The United States Parole Commission on Friday charged McFadden with violating conditions of his parole.

The U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force now is looking for McFadden.

This is the second time McFadden has absconded from a residence in violation of his parole since his release from prison.

In October 2015, he walked away from the Renewal Center in Downtown. Authorities found McFadden about a month later at Heritage Valley Beaver, a hospital in Beaver County. …
