Major Art Exhibition to Increase Palm Springs Sun Seekers
Opened last week and continuing through March 9 at the Palm Springs Desert Museum is "The Armand Hammer Collection: Five Centuries of Masterpieces." The Collection includes works by great European and American masters of the past five centuries - paintings and drawings by Michelangelo, Titian, Rubens, Rembrandt, Moent, Cezanne, Degas, Renoir, Toulouse:Lautrec and van Gogh. It is considered oneof the most important private collections in the world today.
To assure the best viewing possible of this unique art collection, the museum is issuing tickets at $3 per person for a specific date and hour each day the exhibition is open, guaranteeing admission throughout that hour. Visitors may spend as long as they wish in the exhibition area but tickets are required to alleviate long waits.
