Reger Promoted to Baptist Medical Center Assistant Vice President

Michael F. Reger has been promoted to assistant vice president in charge of public relations at Baptist Medical Center.

Reger, formerly director of public relations at the medical center since 1983, will oversee operations of the public relations activities, pro-graphic design, the in-house creative services division and Baptist Medical Center television services, which produces internal as well as commercial television shows, including a monthly medical series called Health Signs aired on KTVY-4, Oklahoma City. . ..

- Larry Claxton has been appointed marketing and research coordinator for A Chance to Change, the Chemical Dependency Institute of Oklahoma Inc.

Claxton has served as supervisor of statistics for the Oklahoma State Department of Health and has worked as an adjunct marketing instructor at Central State University. He has also worked as a consultant in marketing research to Mitchell and Associates. . .

- Donna Meade, postmaster at Bowlegs, Okla., will go to Washington D.C. on May 7 to be honored at the 1986 annual awards ceremony for the Outstanding United States Postal Service Employee.

A service-wide award is presented annually to the outstanding United States Postal Service handicapped employee. Each of the Postal Service's five regions and the headquarters group accept nominations during February and from these nominations, a selection is made within each region and at headquarters to represent that area. Meade, a quadraplegic since 1983 as a result of an auto accident, isthe eleventh state Southern Region's handicapped employee of the year.

Postmaster General Albert V. Casey will present awards to the headquarters nominee and to each regional representative at a luncheon held in their honor. . .
