Proposition No. 2 (FIRE FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT) Shall The City of Oklahoma City, State of Oklahoma, incur an indebtedness by issuing registered bonds in the total sum of Six Million,Three Hundred Forty-Five Thousand Dollars ($6,345,000.00) to provide funds in the amount of Four Million, Ninety-Five Thousand Dollars ($4,095,000.00) for the purpose of acquiring land as sites for Fire Stations, and for construction, renovation and remodeling of Fire Stations and other Fire Department Buildings, and funds in the amount of Two Million, Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($2,250,000.00) for purchasing Fire-Fighting Vehicles and Fire-Fighting Equipment, all to be with or without the use of other funds, to be owned exclusively by said City, and to levy and collect an annual tax, in addition to all other taxes, upon all the taxable property in said City sufficient to pay the interest on said bonds as it falls due, and also to constitute a sinking fund for the payment of the principal thereof when due, said bonds to bear interest at a rate not to exceed ten percent (10%) per annum, payable semi-annually, and to become due serially within twenty-five (25) years from their date?

A listing of the dollar amounts to be expended on specific projects within said proposition are as follows:

1. Continuation of the Systematic Vehicle and Equipment Replacement Program of the Oklahoma City Fire Department for the purpose of replacing fire-fighting and support vehicles and equipment used by the Oklahoma City Fire Department.

$750,000.00 2. Improve and modernize the communication center for the Oklahoma City Fire Department to make its 911 Emergency System compatible. $1,500,000.00 3. Relocation of Oklahoma City Fire Station Number 27 from Northeast 63rd Street and Post Road to the vicinity of Northeast 63rd Street and Westminister Road, Oklahoma City, OK.

$400,000.00 4. Relocation of Oklahoma City Fire Station Number 18 from 700 Northeast 36th Street to the vicinity of Northeast 50th Street and North Kelley Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK. $528,000.00 5. Rebuild Oklahoma City Fire Station Number 8 located at 1939 Exchange Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK. $501,600.00 6. Expansion of the Oklahoma City Fire Department Equipment Maintenance Facility located at 820 Northwest 5th Street, Oklahoma City, OK.

$470,160.00 7. Renovation of Oklahoma City Fire Station Number 5 located in the vicinity of Northwest 22nd Street and North Broadway, Oklahoma City, OK.

$501,600.00 8. Renovation of Oklahoma City Fire Station Number 14 located in the vicinity of 3129 Northwest 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK.

$501,600.00 9. Remodel Oklahoma City Fire Station Number 17 located in the vicinity of 2716 Northwest 50th Street, Oklahoma City, OK.

$87,000.00 10. Remodel Oklahoma City Fire Station Number 19 located in the vicinity 940 Southwest 44th Street, Oklahoma City, OK $101,840.00 11. Renovation of Oklahoma City Fire Station Number 22 located in the vicinity of 1105 West Britton Road, Oklahoma City, OK.

$501,600.00 12. Renovation of Oklahoma City Fire Station 25 located in the vicinity of 2640 Southwest 59th Street, Oklahoma City, OK.

$501,600.00 Proposition No. 3 (TRAFFIC CONTROL) Shall The City of Oklahoma City, State of Oklahoma, incur an indebtedness by issuing registered bonds in the sum of Twenty Million Dollars ($20,000,000.00), to provide funds for the purposes of acquiring and installing traffic control signals, signs and devices to be installed at intersections and at other city-wide locations within said City, all of said improvements to be owned exclusively by said City, and to levy and collect an annual tax, in addition to all other taxes, upon all the taxable property in said City sufficient to pay the interest on said bonds as it falls due, and also to constitute a sinking fund for the payment of the principal thereof when due, said bonds to bear interest at a rate not to exceed ten percent (10%) per annum, payable semi-annually, and to become due serially within twenty-five (25) years from their date? …
