(82866) SOLICITATION FOR BIDS (Bid Notice) Sealed Proposals will be received by the Oklahoma City Urban Renewal Au thority at its office, located at 301 North Harvey, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma,& until 10:00 o'clock a.m., Central Day light Time, on the 10th day of Septem ber, 1986, at which time said bids will be opened for furnishing all labor and materials for: Street, Storm Sewer, Wa ter Line, Street Lighting and Landscap ing Improvements on Main Street from Hudson Avenue to Walker Avenue.

Any Bids received more than ninety six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays,& Sundays, and holidays, before the time set for opening of bids, as well as bids received after time set for opening of bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Bids shall be made in accordance with the Solicitation For Bids, Requirements for Bidders, Plans, Specifications and Bidders Proposal,& and are made a part of this notice as though fully set forth herein and a copy of which may be obtained from our of fice at 301 North Harvey, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, upon deposit of $50.00 per set, all of which will be retained by the Oklahoma City Urban Renewal Au thority; however, said deposit will be refunded to any prime bidder upon re turn of the plans and specifications in good condition within seven (7) days after bids are opened. Bids filed with the Oklahoma City Urban Renewal Author ity shall be considered by our Board of Commissioners on September 17th,& 1986. All Bids shall remain on file at least forty-eight (48) hours before a& contract shall be made and entered into thereon.

Bids shall also be made in accordance with the prevailing hourly rate of wages for this locality and project as deter mined by the Commissioner of Labor and filed with the Secretary of State, a copy of which is on file with the Okla homa City Urban Renewal Authority, in accordance with the provisions of 40 O.S. Supp. 196.1-196.12, which pre vailing hourly rate of wages is made a part of this notice by reference as though fully set forth herein. All bids must in clude Certification by Bidder (Contrac tor), concerning Labor Standards and Prevailing Wage Requirements, Form CDBGS1. All blank spaces for bid prices must be filled in, in ink or type written, in both words and figures, and the foregoing Certifications must be& fully completed and executed when sub mitted.

This contract will be subject to the provisions of Section 3 of the 1968& Housing and Urban Development Act. Section 3 requires the submission of a preliminary statement containing antici pated work force and subcontractor& needs for construction of the project. Further, the Act requires the submission of written goals (number of employees and dollar amount to subcontractors) for utilization of lower income residents, and small and disadvantaged businesses located within the project area. …
