Tierco Deal Terminated

The proposed sale of Tierco Group Inc.'s entire holdings of securities of FPA Corp. has been terminated, Oklahoma City-based Tierco announced Friday.

Tierco holds 1,047,247 shares of the common stock of FPA, or approximately 26 percent of the outstanding common stock, and warrants to purchase an additional 1,053,200 shares of the common stock ofFPA.

Tierco had agreed to sell these to Marvin Orleans, who recently died.

Williams Expands Department

TULSA - The Williams Companies has reorganized and expanded its law department, which will assume some functions previously performed for the company by outside legal counsel, J. Furman Lewis, senior vice president and general counsel, has announced Friday.

The department now includes three component staffs which have been assigned responsibilities for legal aspects of The Williams Companies' various businesses.

The three components will be headed by three associate general counsels.

They are:

- W.J. "Bill" Collingsworth, who is joining Williams from the Tulsa law firm of Hall, Estill, Hardwick, Gable, Collingsworth & Nelson, and whose unit will be responsible for Williams' subsidiaries other than natural gas pipelines.

- Bobby E. Potts, whose unit will be responsible for the Company's natural gas pipeline subsidiaries.

- William G. von Glahn, whose unit will be responsible for corporate secretarial, financial and administrative legal matters.

First Data Offer Extended

A tender offer for the common shares of First Data Management Co. of Oklahoma city has been extended by CM Acquisition Co., according to First Data.

CM Acquisition commenced the tender offer Oct. 2 to purchase 1,822,100 shares of First Data Management common stock at $10 per share net to the seller in cash.

CM Acquisition advised First Data that its tender offer, which was originally scheduled to expire at midnight on Oct. 30, 1986, will now expire Nov. 14.

The tender offer is conditioned upon, among other things, First Data's having entered into a data processing contract with Central Bank, the principal banking subsidiary of Central Banking System Inc. …
