City to Host World Trade Conference "The World is Our Market" is the theme for the annual Oklahoma World Trade Conference, to be held May 20 at the Waterford Hotel in Oklahoma City. The conference is sponsored by the Oklahoma District Export Council.

The purpose of the conference is to provide Oklahomans with an overview of issues which impact international business such as the competitive position of the U.S. in the world economy; world finance and debt; going international safely; and what's in store for U.S. trade policy.

Gov. Henry Bellmon will deliver the keynote address at the noon luncheon. Bellmon also will present the "Governor's Excellence in Exporting Award."

The afternoon session will consist of three concurrent workshops, including information on prospects for sales of oil and gas equipment to the Soviet Union following the Administration's relaxing of restrictions; agricultural exports; and doing business with India.

National Nurses Day to Be Observed National Nurses Day will be observed May 6 by the Oklahoma City-County Health Department.

"Public health nurses work in a diverse and challenging field that demands creativity and adaptability," said Dr. John E. Arrandondo, chief executive officer and medical director of the the department. "Their services emphasized wellness and disease prevention rather than just the treatment of diseases long before the concept of wellness became popular."

The staff at the health department currently includes three certified nurse practitioners, 37 registered nurses, and one licensed practical nurse.

Hotchkiss to Address Meeting Dr. William S. Hotchkiss, president-elect of the American Medical Association, will be the featured speaker at the 81st Annual meeting of the Oklahoma State Medical Association this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Sheraton Century Center in Oklahoma City.
