NOTICE OF INTENT TO DRILL OIL AND GAS WELL THROUGH HARTSHORNE COAL SEAM

Cause CD No. 134,857

Before the Corporation Commission of the State of Oklahoma.

Applicant: Donald C. Slawson. Relief Sought: Well Location Exception. Legal Description: Section 20, Township 8 North, Range 21 East, Haskell County, Oklahoma.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to any and all lessees of the Hartshorne Coal Seam located in Section 20, Township 8 North, Range 21 East, Haskell County, Oklahoma, and any other interested party, that Exxon Corporation intends to drill a well for oil and gas purposes in Section 20-8N-21E, Haskell County, Oklahoma at the following location: 1,320 feet from the South line and 660 feet from the East line of Section 20-8N-

21E, Haskell County, Oklahoma, which location is more than 500 feet from the center of said governmental section.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that Exxon Corporation was authorized to drill said well for oil and gas purposes pursuant to Order No. 305,580 entered by the Corporation Commission on November 19th, 1986, which Order designated the specific location and that Exxon was permitted to drill said well, if commenced one year from the date of said Order.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this Notice is being published in compliance with Order No. 61,489 in Cause CD No. 23,255, which provided that in the event any operator intended to drill a well for oil and gas purposes through the Hartshorne Coal Seam in Section 20-8N-

21E, Haskell County, Oklahoma, that notice should be given by publication in a newspaper of general circulation printed in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and in Haskell County, Oklahoma, and that if any Hartshorne Coal lessee shall have objection to the proposed location, said lessee may file an Application with the Corporation Commission of Oklahoma at the Jim Thorpe Building, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, within fifteen days after the date of the last publication of this Notice, and in such event, such well shall not be drilled without approval of the Corporation Commission, until after hearing the Application of the objecting Hartshorne Coal lessee. …
