300 Answer Casting Call for Mini-series About 300 people have answered a casting call for the opening episode of a television mini-series about Oklahoma history, it was announced Tuesday by the Oklahoma Educational Television Authority.

Authority officials asked Oklahoma actors and actresses interested in auditioning for the ``Oklahoma Passage'' program to send resumes and photographs to the authority by Monday.

``They're still coming in,'' said Sharon Robinson, associate producer of the docu-drama.

Major roles will be cast by Oct. 23 and production will start in early November, including shooting in Tahlequah and Guthrie, Robinson said. She said filming of the first episode will take three to four weeks.

``Oklahoma Passage'' is conceived as a six-part series that will air during the 1989 celebration of the centennial of the Oklahoma Land Run.

Production of the first episode has been funded by private supporters of the Oklahoma Educational Television Authority, Robinson said. She said producers will seek funding from several other major funding agencies for remaining installments of the program.
