Certified Public Accountants to Receive Their Certificates / 180 Applicatns

Certificates as Certified Public Accountants will be presented to 180 applicants from the examination in November, it was announced Tuesday by Noel P. Kirch, chairman of the Oklahoma State Board of Public Accountancy.

In addition, four individuals will be granted certificates by transferring examination credits from other states.

Curtis Dwight Karber of Fairview was named recipient of the Gold Medal Award presented by the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants to the successful candidate who wrote the best paper of those taking the examination for the first time.

Honorable mention awards will be given to Gabriele J. Lingenfelter of Fort Sill and Davis Patterson Kiker II of Inola.

Presentation of the certificates and awards to the new CPAs will be made at an awards dinner sponsored by the Oklahoma Society of CPAs.

Bethany: Glen Thomas Kegin.

Edmond: Cynthia Wallace Buck, Bradley Bennett Buresh, Emilie J. Fowler, Jamie Anne Hadden Gable, Kenneth D. Kearns, Barbara L. Low, Stanley L. McGregor, Elaine M. Schnier and Lori Smith.

Del City: Catherine Anne Johnson.

Midwest City: Deborah Kaye Harroz and Tami Leah Sheets. …
