AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 38, ARTICLE IV, DIVISION 2, SECTION 38-113 OF THE OKLAHOMA CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, 1980, PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF NEW FEES FOR THE USE OF PARK DEPARTMENT PROPERTY, EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF THE PARKS DEPARTMENT TO SET ADMINISTRATIVE CHARGES FOR SPECIAL EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED AND ADMINISTERED BY THE PARKS DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

Emergency Ordinance BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OKLAHOMA CITY:

Section 1. That Sec. 38-113, Division 2, Article IV, Chapter 38, of the Oklahoma City Municipal Code, 1980, is hereby amended to read as follows:

Sec.38-113.Fee. (a)A person to whom a permit is issued pursuant to the provisions of this division shall pay to the City Treasurer the fee established by ordinance. Copies of such ordinance are on file in the Office of the City Clerk. Such fees shall be deposited in the general fund. (b)If it is determined that any charitable, non-profit or eleemosynary organization or society is unable to pay the required fees the Board may waive the payment of any and all fees and charges as to said organizations; provided the waiver of said fees and charges shall not be extended to any organizations using any park or park facilities for the purposes of political meetings of any nature. (c)There is hereby established a schedule of charges for the use or privilege of using property, equipment and services of The City`s Department of Parks and Recreation. …
