(70545) OKLAHOMA TURNPIKE AUTHORITY JOHN KILPATRICK TURNPIKE ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROPOSAL CONTRACT NUMBER JKT-754 On June 28, 1990 until 9:30 a.m., the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority will receive sealed proposals by registered mail through the Cimarron Station Post Office, 1930 Northeast 24th Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73136, or hand delivered on the day of the bid opening to the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority office at 3500 Martin Luther King Avenue. Proposals will be publicly opened and read on the same day at 10:00 a.m. at the office of the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, in accordance with the following:

I. The bidder shall submit with the Proposal a certified or cashier's check or a bid bond for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal to guarantee the bidder, if successful, will enter into contract and obtain bond in agreement with the requirements of the Specifications. The check shall be payable to the order of the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority.

II. No bids which are tied to, or contingent upon, other work with the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority will be accepted.

III. For all turnpike and highway construction minimum and maximum wages shall be in accordance with the schedules of wages used or adopted by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation in construction of state highways.

IV. Bidders shall familiarize themselves with the conditions and shall understand that full cooperation in executing the requirements of the Specifications and Special Provisions is expected.

V. The Proposal shall be prepared as directed by the 1988 Oklahoma Department of Transportation Standard Specifications. …
