Bancfirst Forms New Division for Small Business Financing

By Nancy Raiden Titus BancFirst has formed a new division to specialize in providing long-term commercial loans guaranteed by the Small Business Administration, it announced Friday.

T. Kent Faison was named president of BancFirst Commercial Capital. The new division will provide small business financing specialists at each of its offices throughout the state.

``BancFirst has been an SBA lender in the state for quite a while,'' Faison said. ``BancFirst Commercial Capital was formed to get that experience centralized to help all offices throughout the state.''

BancFirst, 101 N. Broadway Ave., is the largest state-chartered bank in Oklahoma and the third largest Oklahoma City-based bank.

Faison joined the bank in August after working for Southwestern Commercial Capital. He has six years experience working exclusively with Small Business Administration loans.

``We see BancFirst Commercial Capital as a means to provide a service to small businesses throughout Oklahoma while providing the bank with another avenue for quality loans,'' said Faison.
