Court Approves Anthony Plans A U.S. Bankruptcy Court judge approved three motions for C.R. Anthony Co. Friday, including one that clarified how it can utilize its long-time legal counsel.

The motion approved by the court set out terms in which each of the law firms will be allowed to handle Anthonys matters.

The court also approved motions to allow Anthonys to continue its severance program for employees of closed stores and to sell about $25,000 worth of obsolete equipment from those stores. The proceeds from the equipment sale are to be kept in a segregated account for the creditor bank group.
