Eileen Echols, Oklahoma County Special District Judge, has been given the Outstanding Judge of the Year Award by the Oklahoma Bar Association Family Law Section. Judge Echols was appointed to the bench 1, 1989, and is assigned to the family services division. She has served two years as the Chair of the Judicial Committee of the Family Law Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association and as Chair of the Oklahoma County family law committee.
Douglas Loudenback has been named Outstanding Lawyer for 1991. . .
The Oklahoma Bar Association has scheduled a free law-related citizenship education training session 8:30 a.m., Dec. 7, at the Oklahoma Bar Center.
Purpose of the training session is to provide lawyers with successful techniques for teaching students about their civic rights and responsibilities and the importance for them to be law abiding, productive, and participating citizens, according to R. Forney Sandlin, president of the association.
