Howell, Felton Named to Posts on Art Museum Board

Dr. Joe M. Howell has been elected president and Ann Felton has been named president-elect of the Oklahoma City Art Museum board of trustees.

Howell is a practicing veterinarian and 21-year co-owner of Britton Road Veterinary Clinic. He has received Leadership Oklahoma's Paragon Awards for Leadership Skills and Distinguished Alumni and has been named Trustee of the Year by OCAM. Howell has also received the Oklahoma State Veterinary Medical Association's President's Award.

Felton serves as chairman for Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity and as co-chairman for the Women's Advisory Board for Baptist Medical Center. She was co-chairman for the 1992 Allied Arts Campaign and is a recipient of last year's Governor's Arts Award.

Others elected to the board include Marion Devore, vice president and chairman of education; Ralph McCalmont, vice president and chairman of long-range planning; Jean Warren, vice president and chairman of exhibitions; Jeannie Drake, treasurer and chairman of finance; and Haven Mankin, secretary. . . Jeffrey P. Keck has been named vice president for business development at Tulsa-based Trigen-Oklahoma, a subsidiary of Trigen Energy Corp. Keck is responsible for sales and marketing in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. He will act as liaison between the heating and cooling suppliers, and owners and managers of customer buildings. He will also focus on project development throughout the Southwest. Trigen-Oklahoma is a community energy system that provides heat and cooling to downtown buildings in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. . . Oklahoma County Assessor E. Melvin Porter has made the following appointments: Linda Rogers, chief deputy; Paul Patterson, second chief deputy-chief appraiser; Bernice Lenoir, second deputy.

Rogers moves to her new position from that of second deputy, in which she had served since 1982. She has worked in the assessor's office for 22 years. Patterson will oversee the property appraisal division for all of Oklahoma County. Lenoir will oversee the property assessment division of the office. . . Dr. Robert L. Terrell, assistant professor of accounting at the University of Central Oklahoma, has been designated a certified internal auditor by the Institute of Internal Auditors. …
