A panel discussion on the "Economic Outlook for 1994" is planned for Wednesday, Dec. 1, by the Oklahoma City Economic Roundtable. Scheduled panelists are Dr. Robert Dauffenbach, director of the Center for Economic and Management Research at the University of Oklahoma; Dr. Joe Johnson, director of the Center for Urban Economics and Business Analysis; and Dr. Jerry Lage, professor of economics at Oklahoma State University and director of the Oklahoma State Econometric Model.

The Roundtable, which is affiliated with the National Association of Business Economists, is an informal gathering of those interested in economic issues affecting central Oklahoma. The meeting begins at 11:30 a.m. at Applewoods, 4301 SW 3rd St., and the cost for the luncheon is $8. United Video Stock Begins Trading

TULSA _ The registration statement has become effective for the initial public offering of common stock in United Video Satellite Group Inc. of Tulsa, it was announced Friday by Lawrence Flinn Jr., chairman and chief executive officer. The offering price per share was $16 for 4.1 million shares of Class A common stock.

The managing underwriters of the offering were PaineWebber Inc.; Donaldson, Lufkin Jenrette Securities Corp.; and Furman Selz Inc. The common stock (UVSGA) is now being traded in the Nasdaq National Market. The company provides satellite-delivered video, audio, data and program promotion services to cable television systems, satellite dish owners, radio stations and private network users in North America. Ray Ackerman Elected to LSB Board

Ray B. Ackerman has been elected to a newly created directorship on the board of directors of LSB Industries Inc.

Ackerman has been in the advertising business in Oklahoma for 45 years and is currently chairman emeritus of Ackerman McQueen Inc. He has served as president or chairman of numerous non-profit organizations and is currently on the board of directors of the Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, the United Way of Central Oklahoma, the Allied Arts Foundation, the Kirkpatrick Center Museum Complex, the Saint Anthony Hospital Foundation, Oklahoma City University, Red Earth Indian Center, the Community Council, the OKC Public School Foundation, the Oklahoma Heritage Association and Last Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts. …
