WATER UTILITIES TRUST

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given that the Oklahoma City Water Utilities Trust will receive and open sealed bids for the construction of: Sanitary Sewer Project SC-0453; Sanitary Sewer Replacement in the vicinity of NW 52nd Street and Hamilton Drive. in the Office of the City Clerk of The City of Oklahoma City, 2nd Floor, Municipal Building, 200 N. Walker, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73102, until 9:30 a.m., on the 13th day of December, 1994. Bids shall be opened at the above stated time for receipt of bids or as soon thereafter as practicable.

Bids shall be made in accordance with this Notice to Bidders and the Bidding Documents which are on file and available for examination and may be obtained from the Office of the City Clerk upon a deposit of $35.00 per set, all of which will be retained by the Trust; however, said deposit will be refunded to any bidder upon return of the Bidding Documents in good condition within seven (7) days after bids are opened. The Bidding Documents are incorporated herein by reference.

Bidders shall be prequalified for the specific type or types of construction, as provided in The City of Oklahoma City's "Standard Specifications for the Construction of Public Improvements." Unless such requirement is waived in the Standard Provisions or by action of the Trust, the City Clerk shall return submissions from prospective bidders who are not so prequalified.

When required by the Standard Provisions of the Bidding Documents, bids shall also be made in accordance with the prevailing hourly rate of wages for this locality and project as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and filed with the Secretary of State, in accordance with the provisions of Title 40 Oklahoma Statutes (1991), Sections 196.1-196.14, as amended, which prevailing hourly rate of wages is made a part of this notice by reference as though fully set forth herein.

Bids filed with the City Clerk in his office shall be publicly opened in Room 408, Municipal Building, 200 N. Walker Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, by the Bid Committee consisting of the Purchasing Agent, the City Clerk, and the City Auditor of The City of Oklahoma City or their designees at the time stated above or later. …
