Actions last week before the Oklahoma City Planning Commission:

* Approved an application by Walter G. and Hawana L. Baker to rezone 14200 SE 29th St. from the AA Agricultural District into the I-1 Light Industrial District.

* Approved an application by OAIA Insurance Foundation to rezone 1004 NW 50th St. from the R-1 Single Family Residential District into the 0-2 General Office District.

* Approved an application by JRK-Northridge Partners Limited Partnership to rezone 8114 W. Britton Rd. from the C-3 Community Commercial District into the R-4 General Residential District.

* Approved an application by Mexico Fast Inc. for an ABC-2 Alcoholic Beverage Consumption, Restaurant with Alcohol District overlaying the I-2 Moderate Industrial District, located at 7700 N. Broadway Extension.

* Denied an application by J.C. Goodwin to rezone 8028-8100 North May Ave. from the R-1 Single Family Residential District to the SPUD Simplified Planned Unit Development District.

* Continued to Sept. 26 an application by Robert L. Symes for a Special Permit to operate a Mining and Processing: Minerals and Raw Materials use in the I-I Light Industrial District located at 9301 SE 49th St.

* Approved an application by Westpark Business Center to rezone 12021 N. MacArthur Blvd. from the 0-2 General Office District to the SPUD Simplified Planned Unit Development District.

* Approved an application by Russell Lyons to rezone 1709 S. May Ave. from the I-2 Moderate Industrial District to the PLJD Planned Unit Development District.

* Continued to Sept. 12 the final plat of Fairview Farm, Section U, being a part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 5, Township 13 North, Range 3 West of the Indian Meridian, located north of NW 150th Street and west of Western Avenue.

* Continued to Sept. 12 an application by Richard and Charmaine Hogan to close all of Williams Avenue from the south right-of-way line of Keith Street to the north right-of-way line of Walter Street.

* Approved an application by Eagle Ridge LLC to rezone 13000 South Portland Ave. from the AA Agricultural District into the R-1 Single Family Residential District.

* Approved the preliminary plat of Eagle Ridge Estates, being a part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 13, Township 10 North, Range 4 West of the Indian Meridian, located north of SW 134th Street and east of Portland Avenue. …
