It pops up -- prominently -- at a Web site called EatHere.com, dedicated to road food and those who love it (i.e. every real American, in Cybergeek's opinion). No fancy-schmancy gourmet stuff here. EatHere's dedicated to good ol' greasy, fat-laden stuff you find at diners and truck stops alongside the roads of America. Georgia authors Gary and Kathy Nickerson have compiled a list of the very best road food they could find in all 50 states and Canada. Their reviews, complete with menu details, prices, directions, hours and insider tips, appear here in a searchable database that lets you look by state or town, by highway, or by type of food. Oklahoma gets seven listings, most of which have personally been visited by Cybergeek, whose expanding waistline and frequent heartburn belie the well-fed smile on his chubby face. But nothing is perfect, and EatHere missed the estimable Ann's Chicken Fry House on NW 39th in Oklahoma City, home of what may be the best chicken- fried steak in the world.
