O'Reilly Automotive Buys Land for Future Parts Store Site

O'Reilly Automotive bought land at the southeast corner of NW 108th Street and Rockwell Avenue for $189,000 from Barocha Inc.

The Springfield, Mo.-based company plans to start construction on an O'Reilly Auto Parts store at the site in the first quarter of 1998.

The company operates 20 stores in the metro area and a total of 250 stores in six states. It plans to open 50 more stores by the end of 1998. Among Oklahoma County land transactions filed this week with Court Clerk Carolynn Caudill: Transactions of $900,000 or more Jar Investment LLC purchased property at 11001 N. Melco Management Inc. purchased property at 4528 Northwest Expressway, Cullen's Lakeview, from Gimenez Inc. for $600,000. $300,000-$599,000 Records-Browne Investments LLC purchased property at the SW corner of SW 29th Street and May Avenue, Frisco May Avenue Industrial District, from Oklahoma Properties Partnership for $550,000. James S. and Linda G. Snowden purchased property at 360 Hickory Hill Drive, Hickory Forest, Choctaw, from Jeff Moore Homes Inc. for $303,000. $200,000-$299,000 Sandy Lake Road LP purchased property at 820 NE 63rd St.,The Oklahoma Business Village, from Murray and Sharon Cohen for $275,000.
