Logix Names Its New Chief Financial Officer, Other Executives

OKLAHOMA CITY (JR) -- Logix Communications Enterprises on Thursday announced a new chief financial officer and additional senior executives.

Geoffrey M. Boyd is the new chief financial officer of the Oklahoma City based integrated communications provider. He comes to Logix from parent company Dobson Communications, where he served as director of mergers and acquisitions and strategic planning since September 1997.

Boyd was instrumental in handling more than $1 billion in acquisitions, including Dobson Wireline's purchase of Houston-based American Telco. He will manage finance, strategic planning and acquisitions for Logix. Walker Fleming was named senior vice president of business operations. He will oversee regulatory, facilities and human resources. Fleming joined Logix in October. He was vice president of operations and project management for Tele-TV Systems. Robert Scott is the new senior vice president of business and technology strategy and deployment. He will oversee business strategy, technology road map and network deployment. Scott joined Logix as vice president of network and technology development in March. Before coming to Logix, Scott was director of strategic planning and project delivery for Janssen Pharmaceutics and managed the worldwide network operations center for General Electric. G. Scott Brodey is the new senior vice president of operations. He handles network operations, economics and customer service. …
